Base Salary
$132k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define, allocate, decompose, implement, and verify cybersecurity requirements using systems engineering practices.
- Develop cybersecurity requirements, design, architecture, and solution-alternative artifacts.
- Lead system design discussions and provide cybersecurity engineering guidance to program and engineering teams.
- Lead cybersecurity-focused system verification and validation, including test plans, procedures, test execution, analysis, and remediation recommendations.
- Generate and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, and Plans of Actions and Milestones.
- Lead a team of System Security Engineers and promote collaboration, continuous learning, and awareness of evolving security threats.
Requirements
- STEM degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required before starting; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience defining, allocating, and decomposing system requirements, preferably for embedded systems.
- Experience generating Verification Items and determining formal verification methods such as inspection, analysis, demonstration, or test.
- Experience with cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework, embedded cryptography, and requirements management tools.
- Preferred: active transferable Top Secret clearance; satellite or communications systems knowledge; NSA cryptographic certification; Program Protection Plan and Program Protection Implementation Plan experience; Scrum Master, Product Owner, Cost Account Manager, or Basis of Estimate experience; RTX certifications; and cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or Security+.
