Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend systems using Java/Kotlin, C++, Pod, and Spanner for the full account restriction lifecycle.
- Develop and optimize scalable authorization solutions meeting high-QPS and low-latency requirements.
- Analyze large-scale abuse patterns and improve automated restriction and remediation mechanisms.
- Partner with integrating teams and domain experts to deploy safe-by-design enforcement solutions.
- Contribute occasionally to frontend components such as the Abuse Card in My Google.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, or C++.
- At least 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Fluent English and Portuguese communication skills to engage with clients in the region.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
