Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers.
- Implement behavior-driven development testing practices with Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Develop performance, reliability, and security test suites using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, and OWASP ZAP.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Partner with SRE, Platform Engineering, and Product teams to embed quality checks from design through deployment.
- Define AI-enabled test data management, validation, and environment strategies for parallel testing.
- Champion quality engineering principles and mentor team members on test design, coverage, and automation best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in test automation for distributed or cloud-native systems.
- Expertise with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, and BDD practices.
- Experience testing backend APIs, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS services including DynamoDB, Lambda, and ECS/EKS, plus at least one other cloud service.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code testing using Terraform or CDK.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles.
- Awareness of compliance and security testing for regulated financial systems, including PCI DSS, SOC2, and GDPR.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills.
