Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET.
- Develop core infrastructure for payment routing and connector management.
- Design secure, extensible APIs for customer-facing applications and integrations.
- Build reliable services that process high-volume payment transactions.
- Contribute to platform architecture and technical decision-making.
- Continuously improve system performance, security, and developer experience.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless data flow across the platform.
- Lead code reviews and champion backend engineering standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate backend engineering quality.
- Own the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
- Optimize for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production backend services.
- Strong experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Experience in Payments, FinTech, or high-volume transaction processing.
- Experience designing and building RESTful and/or event-driven APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and distributed systems.
- Experience building secure, scalable cloud-based applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on.
