Responsibilities
- Design and implement federated learning and differential privacy techniques for on-device and hybrid AI architectures.
- Build privacy-preserving data pipelines, consent management frameworks, and data minimization systems.
- Architect trade-offs between on-device and cloud processing to optimize privacy and performance.
- Develop explainable AI interfaces, transparency controls, privacy dashboards, and customer-facing AI settings.
- Implement privacy-first cross-device identity management.
- Build distributed multimodal systems handling text, voice, and visual inputs while preserving privacy.
- Create low-latency evaluation systems that assess AI outputs for safety, accuracy, and bias before reaching customers.
- Optimize response latency and reduce hallucinations while maintaining accuracy and strong privacy guarantees.
- Write maintainable software and establish engineering best practices in collaboration with Principal Engineers, managers, product, design, and research teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video game industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Ability to work on distributed systems, modern AI capabilities and limitations, privacy-preserving techniques, safety trade-offs, accessibility, and customer trust.
