Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop well-architected, responsive, and performant web applications.
- Develop highly reliable and available software systems for Starlink.
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant networks that operate at scale with minimal maintenance.
- Deliver expert-level TypeScript and React code for modern browsers.
- Develop full-stack applications in a .NET microservice architecture running on Kubernetes.
- Use continuous monitoring and alerting to improve data-driven decisions, system quality, and observability.
- Collaborate with internal partners and engineering teams on architecture, design, code reviews, and engineering processes.
- Investigate user problems and create efficient solutions while owning outcomes for the customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline plus at least 1 year of full-stack software experience, or 3+ years of professional full-stack software experience in lieu of a degree; internship experience is applicable.
- Programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, Go, Scala, Java, or a similar object-oriented language.
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Front-end experience with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework.
- Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies.
- Experience with UNIX-like operating systems and a CI/CD tool.
- Experience with build systems such as Make, Bazel, Pants, Buck, or Gradle, and package management tools such as pip or npm.
- Experience with profiling and improving application performance.
- Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
