Responsibilities
- Define and maintain technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and target-state capabilities across CRM, marketing automation, and client engagement platforms.
- Establish the strategic direction for customer engagement technologies and align platform evolution with business and technology strategy.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and industry trends to inform platform evolution and investment decisions.
- Partner with senior business, product, and technology leaders to translate business strategy into scalable technology solutions.
- Lead architecture and design for major transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Drive adoption of composable, API-first, cloud-native, and AI-enabled architectural patterns.
- Establish governance frameworks, architecture standards, and best practices across the client engagement technology estate.
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on technology decisions, vendor strategy, and future-state platform direction.
Requirements
- Significant experience in enterprise, solution, or platform architecture roles within large, complex organizations.
- Deep expertise in CRM, marketing automation, customer engagement, and digital experience platforms.
- Proven experience defining technology strategy, architecture roadmaps, and target-state capabilities for large-scale business transformation.
- Strong understanding of composable architectures, API-led integration, cloud-native platforms, event-driven architectures, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Experience leading complex technology programmes and influencing strategic decisions across business and technology leadership teams.
- Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data, analytics, and AI technologies in customer engagement and marketing ecosystems.
- Experience working with strategic technology vendors and managing platform selection, architecture governance, and technology investment decisions.
