Responsibilities
- Gather functional requirements from software developers, senior managers, subject matter experts, business leaders, and IT stakeholders.
- Translate and validate business requirements into technical specifications for software developers.
- Help drive development activities and influence technology decisions for moderately complex products.
- Approve and accept software deliverables released by developers.
- Assist with project plans, information updates, user review, and approval coordination.
- Provide management feedback and mentor software developers.
- Develop and optimize financial-system workflows and interfaces integrating business and IT processes.
- Write and maintain VBA code for Excel macros and review .NET and SAP Crystal Reports code.
- Coordinate application obsolescence and vulnerability remediation through installations and upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in any field.
- Three years of experience in the offered position, as an Intermediate Business System Analyst, Application Developer, SAS Developer/Programmer/Analyst, or a related position.
- Three years of experience using Microsoft ADO and Agile methodologies for work-item management and software lifecycle activities.
- Three years of experience coding with MS SQL and Oracle databases, including packages, stored procedures, documentation, triggers, complex SQL queries, data mining, and analysis.
- Three years of experience handling batch processing on Unix, Linux, and Solaris systems.
- Three years of experience consulting with clients and internal stakeholders about project status, proposals, technical issues, software system design and maintenance, status reports, and presentation decks.
- Three years of experience coordinating application obsolescence and vulnerability remediations through installations and upgrades.
