Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, porting, building, and testing small-satellite computer vision pose-estimation and other computer vision algorithms.
- Analyze algorithm performance.
- Document analysis results.
- Present analysis results.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Be a senior or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Have experience or understanding in at least one computer vision area, including pose estimation, object tracking, structure from motion, or object segmentation.
- Have experience with MATLAB/Simulink and/or C/C++.
- Have experience with collaborative tools such as Confluence, Jira, or Bitbucket.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively with students and professionals.
- Be a U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Desired qualifications include experience with spacecraft sensor systems and space-based computer vision, particularly pose estimation.
