Responsibilities
- Participate in the full Systems Development Life Cycle and support internal system users.
- Conduct research and development, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Support the team in resolving complex technical issues and improving application support processes.
- Drive system improvements and operational efficiencies through continuous improvement.
- Lead and coordinate development activities for a specific application module.
Requirements
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in systems design and software implementation.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with AWS services and CodeIgniter, plus understanding of MVC architecture.
- Experience developing APIs using XML and JSON.
- Understanding of software design concepts and SDLC practices.
- Familiarity with AI tools for coding assistance, documentation, or automation is preferred.
- Knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and static code security is advantageous.
- Understanding of web application security principles and best practices, including the OWASP Top Ten.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using xUnit or similar tools.
- Strong testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
