Base Salary
$151k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Prototype, evaluate, refine, and deploy state-of-the-art machine-learning algorithms that generate driving trajectories for autonomous vehicles and other road users.
- Use Applied Intuition products to build the software and infrastructure foundation for behavior-specific machine-learning development.
- Collaborate with perception and planning engineers and research teams on state-of-the-art models and techniques.
- Work on training-data generation and ML-based planner development with perception and planning teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related field.
- Expertise in at least one of modeling, input pipelines, evaluation, deployment, or model optimization.
- Experience with the end-to-end development cycle of deep-learning models.
- At least two years of experience building production software using modern software practices.
- Fluency in Python and intermediate experience in C++.
- Peer-reviewed machine-learning conference research is preferred, including venues such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, IROS, or ICRA.
- Experience with driver-assistance or autonomous-driving systems is preferred.
- Experience evaluating and improving system-in-the-loop model performance is preferred.
