Responsibilities
- Own and evolve secure, reliable, and efficient software platform capabilities for software delivery.
- Develop GitOps-based delivery practices using ArgoCD and GitLab CI/CD.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates.
- Automate cloud and on-premises infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
- Define and promote software quality standards.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions for reliability, availability, and incident response.
- Lead engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of platform standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational playbooks.
- Coach and mentor development teams on DevOps, CI/CD, quality, automation, and platform capabilities.
- Apply SRE practices including SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, including GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
- Experience designing and operating scalable CI/CD platforms, automation frameworks, and developer enablement solutions.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native platform architectures.
- Expert automation skills with Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Experience building developer tooling, engineering platforms, or DevX solutions.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, reliability engineering, and incident management.
- Experience facilitating technical workshops, mentoring engineers, and promoting knowledge sharing.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows, aerospace or regulated environments, and internal developer platforms is preferred.
