Responsibilities
- Define and maintain Carhartt’s enterprise DevOps and CI/CD processes.
- Automate and enhance build and deployment processes across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
- Manage end-to-end release and deployment processes for public-facing websites and enterprise applications.
- Embed security policies, continuous security testing, and robust security measures into the DevOps pipeline.
- Integrate automated testing frameworks and deployment tools to support quality assurance.
- Manage release cycles, software versioning, and release documentation for traceability.
- Document and troubleshoot build and deployment issues with developers, architects, and SAP teams.
- Drive DevOps culture, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and publish DevOps metrics for organizational leadership.
- Collaborate with developers to provision scalable and reliable cloud-based application software.
- Provide on-call and after-hours support for lower-environment and production deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 7–9 years of related work experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience with e-commerce, retail, or web applications.
- Two to three years of hands-on experience with build and deployment processes for SAP or similar enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub, Ant, Maven, JUnit, Postman, SAP Build and Deployment, APIs, SQL, databases, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Angular, version management, code review, development best practices, and cloud deployment services, preferably Azure.
- Knowledge of Selenium, Ansible, Dynatrace, SAP Hybris/Commerce Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, infrastructure as code, and GitHub Advanced Security.
- DevOps certification, such as Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer, is preferred.
- Experience with blue-green deployments is preferred.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office products, preferably Microsoft Office 365, and Windows 10.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and familiarity with basic ITSM principles.
- Strong communication, documentation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, work independently, take control in stressful situations, and communicate complex technical issues to varied audiences.
