Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex, scalable backend features across Salesforce and supporting systems.
- Build reliable integrations and APIs connecting Salesforce, Marketo, and other GTM platforms.
- Support production issues, investigate root causes, and implement permanent fixes to reduce technical debt.
- Champion engineering quality, code review, and testing practices across the team.
- Design data models and structures that enable reliable information flow across systems.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate delivery while reviewing and validating AI-generated code to high engineering standards.
- Translate business requirements and technical trade-offs for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of backend software engineering experience using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce backend experience designing scalable systems.
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience incorporating AI coding tools into daily development and validating AI-generated code.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to balance long-term projects with urgent production issues.
- Preferred: experience in a high-growth technology company.
- Preferred: experience building complex Salesforce organizations across multiple offices and instances.
