Base Salary
$499k - $900k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement privacy-preserving technologies across the Netflix Ads Suite.
- Build privacy features for ad platforms that protect user data and honor consumer privacy choices.
- Implement data minimization, encryption, and deidentification protections.
- Develop distributed cloud-based applications and high-throughput, low-latency systems handling extremely large data volumes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on privacy, identity, audience, advertising, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Professional experience designing and building privacy features for advertising platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy, governance, security concepts, and Privacy by Design principles.
- In-depth knowledge of regional privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or similar programming languages and strong software development fundamentals.
- Experience developing distributed cloud applications and object-oriented software.
- Experience with big data tools such as Spark and large-scale distributed systems.
- Knowledge of ad tech, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends.
- Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Privacy Enhancing Technologies, Consent Management Platforms, CTV, or IAB Tech Lab is preferred.
