Base Salary

$120k - $355k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Tanium's endpoint services alongside an agile development team.
Design, develop, and test new product ideas in partnership with frontend and backend teams.
Iterate with product management for feedback and input on product development.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a CS degree preferred.
3+ years of industry experience, 5+ years preferred.
Experience designing and building high-impact, scalable backend services and APIs.
Advanced knowledge of C and C++.
Experience developing for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Familiarity with metrics-driven development tools like Prometheus.
Experience building data processing pipelines for real-time data.
Proficiency with modern software engineering tools like git and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to balance rapid development with long-term code maintainability.
Commitment to writing automated tests as part of development.
Strong debugging skills in production environments.
