Technical Architect – German or French Speaker

- Serve as a trusted advisor connecting customer business objectives with Salesforce architecture, delivery roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead architecture for complex engagements and coordinate solution architects, technical architects, customers, partners, and Salesforce teams.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable solution designs.
- Design data, integration, identity, security, migration, and rollout architectures connecting Salesforce with enterprise systems.
- Guide configuration and development, contribute hands-on when required, and review implementation approaches and deliverables.
- Partner with security, privacy, and governance teams on access controls, data protection, auditability, and release governance.
- Plan delivery with project and engagement managers, manage dependencies and risks, resolve issues, and set customer expectations.
- Evaluate AI and automation use cases, including data access, human oversight, and evaluation criteria.
- Mentor customers, partners, and colleagues; contribute reusable architecture patterns and support pre-sales activities.
Requirements
- Professional working proficiency in German or French, written and spoken, with the ability to lead workshops and discuss architecture decisions in at least one language.
- Already authorized to work in Switzerland and holding a valid Swiss work permit where required.
- 8+ years of enterprise architecture or technical consulting experience, including 4+ years leading Salesforce implementation projects.
- Consulting experience advising customers, facilitating discovery workshops, and translating business needs into architecture and delivery plans.
- Strong Salesforce application design skills with experience in data modeling, integration, identity, security, and platform scalability.
- Hands-on Salesforce configuration and development experience, including customization and coding in object-oriented languages.
- Experience with APIs, enterprise integration patterns, data migration, and connected enterprise applications.
- Understanding of enterprise security, privacy, and governance requirements.
- Ability to lead technical teams, manage architecture decisions, and deliver through agile methods across distributed multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, ownership, and stakeholder-influence skills, with willingness to travel regionally or occasionally internationally.
- Preferred experience with multiple Salesforce products, enterprise data management, omnichannel engagement, digital self-service, CRM modernization, legacy migration, multi-country deployments, Agentforce, enterprise data platforms, or AI-assisted development tools.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or multiple Salesforce architecture certifications is preferred.
- Experience leading enterprise transformation and building relationships with C-level executives and senior technology leaders is preferred.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable professional experience.
