Base Salary

$137k - $234k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, resilient, cloud-native, and hybrid architectures.
  • Define and evolve enterprise cloud strategy, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead technical adoption, modernization, and large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Establish cloud governance frameworks, cost optimization strategies, and operational excellence practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, DevOps, and business stakeholders on end-to-end solutions.
  • Coach and mentor architects, engineers, and developers on cloud best practices and architectural patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including at least five years in cloud architecture roles.
  • Deep expertise in one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, DevOps, and automation.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and serverless architectures.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred: cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Preferred: experience with Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Preferred: familiarity with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Preferred: strong coding ability in Python, Go, Java, or similar for infrastructure tooling, automation, or proof-of-concept development.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government is a plus.
