Responsibilities
- Deliver new product features using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
- Write specifications and prompts, break work into agent-sized tasks, and guide agents toward high-quality results.
- Review, test, debug, and maintain agent-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Design, code, and automate tests for new product features.
- Resolve real-world challenges for brands using the Partnership Platform.
- Address complex technical issues involving scale and performance.
- Gather requirements with Product and engineering teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Share agent prompts, workflows, and lessons learned with the team.
- Collaborate with remote colleagues using Slack and Zoom and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of programming experience using open source technologies.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, including the ability to read, write, and debug code without an agent and evaluate agent-generated output.
- Hands-on experience with or genuine enthusiasm for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.
- Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, the Spring Framework, SQL, Git, Gradle or Maven, IntelliJ, Eclipse or VSCode, and macOS or Linux.
- Preferred: experience writing agent instructions, custom skills, or MCP integrations.
- Preferred: Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.
