Responsibilities
- Develop new features for Pexip’s web video client and video meeting and collaboration applications.
- Maintain, test, debug, and create automated tests for frontend features.
- Contribute to npm packages including the design system implementation and media and WebRTC abstractions.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, UX designers, and colleagues in the UK and Norway.
- Design user-friendly, high-quality UI solutions and continuously improve the codebase.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of experience building modern frontend web applications.
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript and React skills, or experience with similar frameworks.
- Experience working with APIs and automated testing.
- Comfort with Git/GitHub and code reviews.
- Ability to design user-friendly, high-quality UI solutions.
- Good communication skills, collaborative mindset, continuous-learning orientation, and eagerness to develop new skills.
- Preferred: experience with real-time or high-performance web applications; WebRTC, media APIs, or video/graphics technologies; web security, testing tools, or CI/CD; design systems, Figma, or component libraries; AI, WebAssembly, or cross-platform development.
