Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using AI methods and tools across the software-development lifecycle.
- Build agentic workflows involving tool use/function calling, planner/executor patterns, multi-agent patterns, and guardrails.
- Develop RAG and retrieval architectures using embeddings, chunking strategies, and re-ranking.
- Systematically evaluate AI-system quality and optimize latency and costs.
- Provide technical leadership in project teams when needed and share knowledge through training and knowledge transfer.
- Work on consulting and software-development projects directly with enterprise customers.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in computer science or a comparable discipline.
- Deep practical software-development experience with technologies such as Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript.
- Experience applying AI in software engineering, including tools such as Claude or Copilot.
- Knowledge of AI algorithms and machine-learning fundamentals such as classification, clustering, and embeddings.
- Practical experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel, prompting, and structured outputs.
- Familiarity with agentic protocols including MCP and A2A.
- Fluent German at least C1 level and very good English at least B2 level.
- Ability to work independently and contribute actively to project-team success.
