Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug software that enables AI features across Intel’s product portfolio.
- Build AI deployment frameworks, model lifecycle management capabilities, containerized AI workloads, inference optimizations, and scalable cloud and edge platform services.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize solutions across firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications.
- Develop reference AI software and optimize customer designs for maximum utilization of Intel AI products.
- Improve AI workloads and benchmarks for power and performance analysis and architecture recommendations.
- Contribute to AI software development in open-source communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 4+ years of software development experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 3+ years or a PhD with no prior professional experience.
- Requirements may be met through a combination of industry experience, internships, and academic projects.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience developing software for Linux environments and multiple Linux distributions, including deb and RPM-based distributions.
- Expertise in AI technologies, including generative AI, AI models, training, inference, and AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with software development in open-source communities.
- Experience with Python, AI/ML frameworks, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure or AWS, MLOps, distributed systems, and AI workload optimization for benchmarking and simulation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
