Responsibilities
- Architect multi-agent systems with LangGraph, Google ADK, or similar orchestration frameworks for complex customer-support procedures.
- Build MCP integrations connecting LLMs with internal Coinbase APIs, databases, and third-party tools.
- Develop automated LLM-as-a-judge evaluation pipelines for monitoring and improving production AI agents.
- Implement RAG, fine-tuning, and prompt-engineering techniques to produce grounded, accurate, and compliant chatbot responses.
- Ship resilient, low-latency Python services across asynchronous microservices capable of handling Coinbase-scale traffic.
- Partner with Conversation Design and Product to translate business logic into executable agent procedures.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building and scaling production ML/AI systems, including autonomous Loop- or ReAct-based agent systems.
- Deep understanding of LLM lifecycle concepts including context-window management, token optimization, structured output parsing, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Strong Python proficiency with experience in microservices, asynchronous programming, high-throughput APIs, and vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
- Ability to explain model behavior and technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders across CX, Legal, and Product.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with appropriate human oversight and focus on workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
