Responsibilities
- Partner with direct and channel sales teams during the enterprise sales process.
- Discover customer requirements and align SailPoint solutions to those needs.
- Present SailPoint’s business functions, value proposition, and competitive differentiators.
- Deliver product demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Assist with RFP responses in coordination with the RFP response team.
- Participate in onsite and remote proof-of-value evaluations.
- Provide product enhancement feedback to Product Management.
- Develop technical collateral, present at conferences and meetups, and communicate business value to clients beyond IT.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise B2B software company.
- Technical pre-sales experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Thorough understanding of identity, governance, user administration, and access management.
- Strong written, verbal, customer discovery, presentation, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of technical infrastructure including web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories.
- Conversance with modern SaaS architecture.
- Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON, and Azure, AWS, or GCP is desirable.
- 3+ years of experience with identity, governance, and access management solutions is preferred.
- Preferred but not required: BA/BS or global equivalent.
- 8 years of related experience is stated in the education section.
