Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and monitor SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and alerting strategies for Payments and Order to Cash workflows.
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable end-to-end observability solutions across distributed environments.
  • Support incident management, reduce response times, and facilitate blameless root cause analyses to eliminate observability gaps.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and develop self-healing mechanisms to reduce operational toil.
  • Design AI-assisted diagnostics, smart alerting, and anomaly-detection solutions to accelerate incident resolution.
  • Monitor system health and support load testing, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Analyze telemetry accuracy, including latency, failures, data delays, misleading signals, and noisy alerts.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on code-level issues and translate technical metrics into business impacts.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in production reliability, modern incident response, and system architecture.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and C# or another backend language.
  • Experience with dashboarding using Grafana and log analysis using ADX/KQL.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines is heavily preferred.
  • Ability to validate telemetry accuracy and challenge misleading signals or noisy alerts.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with engineering teams and business stakeholders.
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as Microsoft 365 and GitHub Copilot and building AI agents.
  • Strong analytical thinking, hands-on coding ability, and the ability to work across engineering and business contexts.
