Base Salary
$131k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, deploy, and operate developer-facing experiences including developer portals, documentation tooling, SDK improvements, quickstarts, code samples, and integration templates.
- Research APIs, implement partner integration components, validate integration flows, and prepare technical documentation and test plans.
- Participate in partner working sessions and progressively own bounded technical discussions and follow-up deliverables.
- Convert repeated developer and partner questions into improvements to documentation, samples, SDKs, tooling, and product feedback.
- Write maintainable code with automated tests, logging, metrics, code review, and security practices.
- Participate in design reviews, incident and debugging work, retrospectives, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Product, Partnerships, Sales, and Support.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent experience building and shipping production-quality software.
- Experience with one or more of TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Ruby, or Python.
- Familiarity with HTTP APIs and web application fundamentals, including authentication, structured data, error handling, and testing.
- Experience building, debugging, or consuming APIs in a professional, academic, open-source, or substantial personal-project setting.
- Strong written communication, documentation, collaborative software development, and interest in developer tools, integrations, and software users.
- Preferred experience with frontend frameworks, backend services, API clients or SDKs, developer documentation, sample applications, OAuth/OIDC, OpenAPI, cloud infrastructure, containers, observability tools, or customer-facing and cross-functional product work.
