Base Salary
$131k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new features for Developer Insights using Backstage.io.
- Improve the developer experience for DoorDash engineers through internal products and platform services.
- Work across frontend, backend, and data areas as project needs change.
- Contribute features and bug fixes to upstream open-source projects.
- Mentor and educate peers while providing technical leadership.
- Assist with roadmap planning and measurement of existing features.
- Represent the team in OKR and engineering all-hands presentations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in web technologies.
- Frontend experience with TypeScript and React.
- Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
- A product mindset applied to platform services and internal products.
- Strong systems and software proficiency with curiosity about system architectures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor across designing, generating, testing, monitoring, and releasing software.
