Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Author Dockerfiles and deploy workloads to Kubernetes clusters with Helm.
- Implement GitOps workflows and automated cluster configuration management.
- Harden clusters and base images according to DoD guidance, including STIG and Iron Bank standards.
- Support networking, policy enforcement, and secrets management in secure multi-cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement solutions independently.
- Administer and maintain Linux-based production systems.
- Collaborate with development and security teams on CI/CD pipeline operations.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and a Secret-or-higher security clearance are required.
- Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD; GitLab is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently are required.
- Familiarity with administering Linux systems is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Renovate, DoD Security Requirements Guide, DoD DevSecOps Reference Guide, Windows Server administration and automation, RHEL or RHEL-based Linux distributions, FluxCD or similar GitOps tools, OPA or other policy-as-code frameworks, and DoD Cloud SRG and container hardening practices.
