Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AI Platform solutions with data scientists and ML engineers and serve as the senior technical escalation point.
- Drive large-scale training improvements across throughput, reliability, cost, and developer experience, including foundation model training, reinforcement learning, simulation, and LLM fine-tuning.
- Improve the end-to-end model lifecycle from data and training through evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design integrations across model serving, ML pipelines, data serving, AI infrastructure, and AI automation tooling.
- Translate user pain points into functional requirements and cross-platform solutions.
- Create reference architectures, reusable patterns, and best-practice guidance for ML use cases.
- Shape the platform roadmap, evaluate state-of-the-art infrastructure, contribute through code and design reviews, and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements
- Expert-level mastery of ML lifecycle platforms such as Kubeflow, MLflow, Triton, and TorchServe.
- At least 10 years of experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and high-performance computing clusters using GPUs or TPUs.
- Experience optimizing large-scale data and model pipelines and designing available, scalable, and secure multi-tenant platform services.
- Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, fine-tuning infrastructure, or serving optimization using technologies such as vLLM or TensorRT-LLM.
- Strong system design, technical ownership, independent execution, and ability to evaluate state-of-the-art infrastructure paradigms.
- Experience with distributed training frameworks including PyTorch, Ray, and Horovod.
- Commitment to mentoring senior engineers and raising engineering quality.
