Responsibilities

Develop and execute software engineering plans and manage engineering schedules and resource allocations.
Apply software engineering processes and practices to support reproducible, high-quality development.
Analyze, review, and design software, including technical review of source code.
Translate business needs into high-level requirements and document business requirements.
Collaborate with technical and business partners and incorporate usability and user interface needs into solutions.
Participate in user testing, pilot testing, and project launches.
Monitor and track success metrics for projects and platforms.
Balance short-term needs with longer-term business priorities.

Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
Preferred fields include business analytics, computer engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, management information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
Preferred qualifications include basic process documentation knowledge and experience with Linux/Unix, Mac OS X, iOS, or Android.
Must demonstrate communication, organizational, attention-to-detail, initiative, independent-work, and multitasking skills.
Must be able to work with business, engineering, and R&D teams to translate needs to application development teams.

$23–$25 per hour for the paid internship.
11-week internship beginning June 1, 2027.
Hybrid work environment balancing office days and remote work.
Positions are located in St. Paul, Minnesota; Eagan, Minnesota; or Naperville, Illinois.
