Base Salary
$250k - $335k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create large-scale datasets and training recipes, including methods for human and machine data labeling.
- Develop data-mining methods and automated data-collection and model-update flywheels.
- Develop methods for evaluating real-world model performance and detecting regressions in model updates.
- Design scalable infrastructure solutions based on domain data needs to support model improvement and product expansion.
- Design, build, implement, and validate ML data infrastructure supporting the scaling of VLM data needs.
- Collaborate with ML infrastructure and problem-domain teams to resolve issues and bottlenecks and streamline validation.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Experience designing distributed systems that process data at scale, especially ML data infrastructure.
- Foundational understanding of machine learning principles and state-of-the-art methods.
- Passion for building ML infrastructure and strong communication skills.
- Preferred: experience implementing data compliance and data governance solutions.
- Preferred: experience with VLMs or LLMs.
