Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and capture customer requirements.
- Document current-state and future-state process flows.
- Evaluate software options and collaborate with enterprise architects on the IT roadmap.
- Lead or participate in cost analysis and decision analysis.
- Design, implement, test, and document software solutions.
- Participate in integration and user acceptance testing with end users.
- Provide 24x7 software issue support and act as a subject-matter expert and final point of contact.
- Resolve issues independently and with other teams, and document defects and enhancements.
- Train and mentor support team members.
- Research technologies and recommend changes to the IT roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Application development experience is preferred.
- Interest in system development, maintenance, and performance improvement.
- Familiarity with Perl and Linux.
- Tcl, Java, C#, Python, and C/C++ are preferred.
- Semiconductor FAB system development experience is preferred.
- Good English language skills.
- AI-related skills or experience with LLMs, agents, agentic AI, Cloud Assist, or Copilot are highly preferred.
