Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate resilient, highly available infrastructure for Aurora’s forecast models.
- Build tools and platforms for engineers, modellers, and analysts across the business.
- Create the agent and compute platforms that power Aurora.
- Contribute to improvements in the platform team’s working practices.
Requirements
- At least two years of professional Python or TypeScript experience in a commercial, team-based software environment.
- Experience building and maintaining infrastructure with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience writing automated tests and automating repetitive tasks.
- Desirable: experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, including Ansible playbooks for server configuration and patch management.
- Desirable: interest in the transformation of energy markets and infrastructure.
- Desirable: a relevant degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.
