Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
- Run regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and analyze results.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track software defects in Jira.
- Conduct mobile threat defense application and SDK testing and assist with vulnerability assessments.
- Contribute to test documentation and participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Assist with integrating automated tests into TestOps under guidance.
- Communicate testing progress and blockers to team members.
- Learn and adopt new testing tools and methodologies as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Basic knowledge of API testing using tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
- Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals.
- Experience with Git version control and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest; data-driven testing; and Page Object Model implementation.
- Understanding of software and testing life cycle concepts.
- Preferred qualifications include building automation frameworks from scratch, testing web and API applications, troubleshooting automation failures, and experience with performance, security, Docker, cross-browser, mobile, or CI/CD testing.
