Base Salary

$199k - $282k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of high-impact, member-facing systems.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape product direction.
Set the technical vision for critical systems with a scalable approach.
Identify and solve systemic challenges related to performance and availability.
Mentor senior engineers and drive consistency in quality and architecture.
Represent Chime externally through recruiting and community engagement.

8+ years of experience in software engineering.
Deep understanding of system design and product-engineering tradeoffs.
Ability to influence technical and product direction across teams.
Track record of driving measurable impact on business and engineering goals.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in a fast-paced, product-focused environment; Fintech experience is a plus.
