Responsibilities

  • Learn data, scalability, performance, and MLOps practices from the Data & ML Platform Engineering team.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining sports data-stream architecture for reliable, high-speed data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to operationalize data pipelines and data science/machine-learning assets.
  • Help ensure model output quality, stability, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Strong computer science or engineering background, or study in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
  • Demonstrable history of building robust data and machine-learning platform applications and services.
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes, CPU architectures, and GPU architectures.
  • Interest in sports and fantasy sports markets.
  • Preferred experience includes C++, deploying data or machine-learning platforms from scratch, and successful open-source projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and collaboration experience with technical and non-technical teams.
