Responsibilities
- Ship features involving gateway routing, MCP servers, agent workflows, knowledge bases, or user-facing AI features.
- Build evaluations to measure whether prompt or retrieval changes improve results.
- Prototype quickly and add tests and logging for unattended production operation.
- Analyze adoption, cost, and quality data and report findings, including contradictory results.
- Speak with internal or external users and use their feedback to guide development.
Requirements
- Experience building a real project with LLM APIs, including prompting, streaming, tool calling, and failure handling.
- Proficiency with Git, testing, and root-cause debugging.
- Knowledge of SQL and data analysis sufficient to identify outliers affecting averages.
- Experience with agent frameworks or MCP is preferred.
- Daily use of coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor is preferred.
