Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, and support new products and process improvements.
- Analyze complex business and system processes and develop innovative solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python code for Generative AI applications.
- Integrate GenAI APIs such as OpenAI and Gemini and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation systems.
- Develop and deploy backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow software development best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Deploy and manage applications using cloud container orchestration services such as OpenShift and ECS.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI concepts and technologies.
- Experience integrating GenAI APIs such as OpenAI and Gemini.
- Practical experience implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation systems.
- Expertise in at least one of FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Understanding of software development best practices, version control with Git, testing, and CI/CD.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving, independent working, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
