Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance frontend applications for financial services products.
  • Build reusable frontend components and intuitive interfaces for financial transactions, account management, reporting, and payment workflows.
  • Integrate frontend systems with APIs, payment gateways, banking services, fraud prevention tools, and third-party financial platforms.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, secure session management, accessibility, privacy, and security controls.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, scalability, and reliability across devices and browsers.
  • Conduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and support quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues involving customer transactions, account servicing, and digital financial products.
  • Collaborate with product, design, backend engineering, and compliance teams on customer-centric financial solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of fintech frontend development experience.
  • Expertise with JavaScript and TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of financial systems, fintech products, secure application development, payment gateway and API integration, and regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to implement frontend controls supporting PCI-DSS and secure handling of sensitive input fields.
  • Awareness of consent flows and data collection UI requirements under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
