Responsibilities
- Provide dataflow expertise through software development and process improvement.
- Expand and develop health monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Use open-source and proprietary software to collect metrics from applications, hardware, and network appliances.
- Communicate with customers and gather feedback on project status and results.
- Develop and rapidly deploy security products for a national security customer.
- Work independently with analysts, data scientists, and other software engineers.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Twelve years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or ten years of experience with a master’s degree.
- Four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Extensive experience managing dataflow pipelines.
- Experience with data engineering platforms, including NiFi.
- Experience with customer cross-domain solutions and containerization platforms.
- Development experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
- Preferred: programming experience in Python, Go, and Java.
- Preferred: experience deploying and running open-source tools at the agency.
- Preferred: experience with Svelte, OpenTelemetry, or OpenObserve.
- Preferred: knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
- Preferred: at least four years of dataflow experience.
