Base Salary
$132k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications and distributed systems across web, mobile, and AI-powered products.
- Build conversational and autonomous agentic AI platforms for member-facing and internal employee use cases.
- Apply security, privacy, governance, data protection, access control, responsible AI, guardrail, PII-handling, and human-in-the-loop practices.
- Supervise team members implementing new functionality and ensure alignment with the organization's technical vision.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make architecture, tooling, technology, and project-direction decisions based on member and business outcomes.
- Write clean code, resolve application issues, and communicate technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years building high-performance, reliable, and secure software, including distributed systems design experience.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI/LLM tools, agentic systems, or applied ML.
- Strong security fundamentals across web, mobile, LLM, and agentic workflows, including authentication, authorization, data privacy, prompt injection, and agent-specific attack vectors.
- Strong understanding of API and event-driven architecture.
- Strong presentation and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Understanding of AI communication protocols such as MCP or A2A preferred.
