Responsibilities
- Develop and support embedded software infrastructure for automated verification of IoT MCU and wireless products.
- Develop hardware drivers, tests, and algorithms for verifying hardware functionality.
- Integrate and troubleshoot test and driver code with hardware test platforms.
- Develop and troubleshoot user applications and utilities focused on IC validation.
- Support verification and systems hardware engineers and chip design engineers in using software tools.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, IC design, and engineering groups across locations.
- Evaluate, adopt, and deploy new technologies and communicate with colleagues to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Professional software development experience; candidates at different experience levels are considered.
- Knowledge of programming chip- and board-level hardware and instrumentation using C or C++.
- Hardware debugging skills for enabling software functionality.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming in Python, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with software build techniques, revision control tools, and software testing methodologies.
- Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies for productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
- Highly desirable: experience with automated hardware verification, validation, and characterization environments; laboratory equipment and measurements; databases and data manipulation with .NET and XML; and data reporting and visualization with Power BI.
