Responsibilities
- Improve vulnerability management processes, including identification, prioritization, tracking, remediation, and program reporting.
- Participate in incident response through triage, investigation, containment, and post-incident documentation.
- Support application security initiatives such as automated code scanning and dependency analysis.
- Configure, monitor, and improve endpoint, email, identity and access management, and cloud security tooling.
- Develop security automation and orchestration workflows and contribute to access reviews, documentation, detection, and response improvements.
Requirements
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, networking, operating systems, and cloud environments through education, self-study, bootcamps, or professional experience.
- Hands-on experience in at least one security domain, such as vulnerability management, incident response, application security, endpoint security, or identity and access management.
- Experience with security tooling such as vulnerability scanners, endpoint detection and response platforms, or SIEM systems.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application to security workflows, alert triage, detection, or response is preferred.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English and a collaborative, autonomous working style.
- Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, AWS or GCP, container security, security automation or Python, or regulated environments such as SOC 2 or PCI is beneficial.
