Base Salary
$85k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, and integrate new capabilities for new and existing turreted weapons systems.
- Debug issues in existing systems.
- Integrate new capabilities in the Systems Integration Lab and in the field.
- Deliver executable software meeting quality and performance requirements.
- Deliver software documentation and other work products meeting contractual requirements.
- Provide project execution status reports to management.
- Travel approximately 10–15%.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering is desired; other engineering degrees may be considered with appropriate additional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, and testing embedded real-time control software, including 2–3 years of overall software development experience.
- Experience with the C language; Java is a plus.
- Experience with operating systems, especially RTOS; bare-metal and embedded Linux experience is a plus.
- Experience with communication protocol drivers and stacks, including networking, 1553, UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Ability to read and understand electronic component datasheets, electrical schematics, and communication protocol documents.
- Unix internals, low-level driver software, communication interface software, and GUI software experience are pluses.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
