Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated security guardrails and paved paths.
- Engage development teams during ideation and design to provide secure architecture and coding guidance.
- Build automated, continuous security assessment capabilities to replace manual reviews.
- Contribute code for security fixes and paved path solutions alongside developers.
- Build scalable, self-service security tools for identifying and remediating security risks.
- Design and implement preventive and detective security controls for continuous assurance.
- Collaborate on long-term security strategy and participate in periodic security incident on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent.
- Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
- At least 3 years of experience in one or more of application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing.
- Preferred experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
- Preferred ability to communicate complex concepts effectively in writing and verbally.
- Preferred experience using Large Language Models to automate and scale security, including understanding related risks and mitigations.
