Responsibilities
- Build Generative AI and AI agent solutions for customer operations, internal automation, and lending operations.
- Design prompts, workflows, and evaluation processes to improve AI system reliability and usefulness.
- Integrate LLMs with internal tools, APIs, databases, and business systems.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable Python code, including API integrations, data processing, and asynchronous programming.
- Prototype, test, measure impact, and iterate on AI solutions based on business needs.
- Collaborate with UK and Shenzhen teams to identify and develop high-value AI use cases.
- Improve production reliability through testing, logging, monitoring, fallback handling, and appropriate human review.
- Monitor AI trends and propose practical applications for the business.
Requirements
- Ideally 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, AI, machine learning, automation, or related technical work.
- Strong Python skills, including API integrations, data processing, asynchronous programming, and clean code practices.
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts including LLMs, embeddings, RAG, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and model limitations.
- Familiarity with prompt design patterns, evaluation methods, hallucination reduction, and AI reliability improvement techniques.
- Interest in AI agents and workflow design, including tool calling, task planning, memory, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop systems.
- Ability to experiment quickly, learn new tools, and turn ambiguous business problems into working solutions.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams.
- Fluency in spoken, written, and read English.
- Fluency in spoken, written, and read Mandarin.
- Practical experience with LLM applications, RAG, embeddings, structured outputs, function calling, or agentic workflows is advantageous.
- Experience with cloud AI platforms such as GCP Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI is advantageous.
- Experience in financial services, consumer lending, credit risk, collections, operations automation, or AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor is advantageous.
