Responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources and systems.
- Implement data quality checks to ensure data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
- Develop and deploy data solutions in cloud environments.
- Contribute to data solutions that improve healthcare quality, affordability, and outcomes.
- Participate in community service, professional development workshops, mentorship, networking, leadership interactions, and the Intern Innovation Challenge.
Requirements
- Currently pursue a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Have experience using Python to process, transform, and automate data workflows.
- Have experience using SQL to query and analyze data.
- Have exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts, experience building cloud data engineering solutions, familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Bash/UNIX scripting, and experience integrating data from APIs and disparate sources.
- Preferred candidates demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and can explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
