Responsibilities
- Develop and scale internal and client-facing full-stack web applications.
- Build performant, accessible, maintainable frontend and backend features.
- Integrate APIs, enterprise platforms, identity management solutions, and business systems.
- Develop Azure-based cloud-native applications with a focus on scalability and operational excellence.
- Improve reusable components, developer tooling, testing practices, and architectural standards.
- Apply secure coding, authentication, authorization, automated testing, and data protection practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Share knowledge through code reviews, best practices, mentoring, and technical coaching.
- Contribute to BDO’s web development capabilities, standards, and delivery methodologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of modern full-stack web development experience for Medior level or 5+ years for Senior level.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and the Node.js ecosystem.
- Frontend experience with frameworks such as Svelte, SvelteKit, React, Vue, or Next.js.
- Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and ORM or query-builder patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and modern deployment practices.
- Understanding of secure development, authentication, authorization, OWASP Top 10, and data protection requirements.
- Comfort with Git workflows, code reviews, testing, and maintainable software architecture.
- Fluent Dutch or French and strong command of English.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with interest in AI-assisted development.
- Experience with reusable tooling, component libraries, automated testing, accessibility, schema validation, containerized environments, serverless architectures, design systems, theming, internationalization, architecture documentation, consulting, or multi-project environments is advantageous.
