Responsibilities
- Advise customers as a trusted advisor on complex SAP CX architectures across sales, service, commerce, marketing, and BTP.
- Define, structure, and continuously develop the company’s proprietary service portfolio and in-house solutions.
- Support presales activities by leading customer workshops and translating business requirements into technical architectures.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching while preparing to assume people and strategic leadership of an 11-person department.
- Drive organizational and technological change and help shape the department’s strategic direction.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business informatics, software engineering, or a comparable technical education.
- More than 8 years of experience designing and implementing complex SAP CX architectures.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP CX core solutions, especially SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP Sales & Service Cloud v2.
- Practical experience with SAP Business Technology Platform, cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven integration, Kyma, SAP Integration Suite, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong object-oriented software development background, preferably with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, React, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, or Node.js.
- Experience mentoring and coaching team members and communicating confidently with customers and management-level stakeholders.
- Native or C2-level German and fluent business English.
- Experience with AI or generative AI in CX, including SAP Joule, Generative AI Hub, agentic AI, or LLM integrations, is advantageous.
