Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using existing automation frameworks.
- Create acceptance, integration, and regression tests supporting software releases and DevOps pipelines.
- Partner with Agile development teams to define and validate software features.
- Assist with test harnesses, mocks, and supporting automation tools under senior engineering guidance.
- Investigate, document, and help resolve software defects.
- Perform manual verification and exploratory testing for software quality and performance.
- Contribute to sprint planning, task estimation, retrospectives, and other development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 0–2 years of software development, testing, or related experience.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and languages such as C++, C#, or similar.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and software design principles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
- Preferred experience with .NET, Python, or RESTful APIs.
- Preferred familiarity with Linux development environments and command-line tools.
- Preferred exposure to software testing, test automation, networking, or DevOps concepts.
